The Sacred Ledger
Ratified entries of the Codex of the Age of Heresy — every person, place, doctrine, and abomination inscribed by order of the Bureau of Doctrine.
Newly inscribed
Most recent 30, newest published first.

Piac Street
The map remained accurate. The ground became hostile.
Piac Street survives in Debrecen's civic plans, matched to the first fissure of A.S. 172. The Bureau permits consultation of the map; walking the line remains forbidden.
Codex Ref. II.4.09-172

Phrase Wheel
The wheel supplies the words; the penitent supplies the pause
The Codex Auditor's aid to approved penance language. The wheel supplies the words; the penitent supplies the pause, and the Bureau records both.
Codex Ref. XIII.1.99-004

Petyr Vann
Attendance: one hundred percent. Enthusiasm: filed separately.
Chorus-Master Eleventh Grade Petyr Vann administered Reims's Feast of Doctrinal Submission in A.S. 198. The Bureau reported full attendance. Enthusiasm was filed separately.
Codex Ref. III.2.01-198

Phrase-Rotation
The comfort stays; the words refuse to testify
Mercy Preachers vary comfort and coded aid to defeat comparison. The meaning reaches the street; the clerk receives three perfectly useless transcripts.
Codex Ref. XIII.1.77-201

A.S. 199 Phrase-Comparison Review
The Bureau learned to compare meanings; the street moved them into breath
Purity's A.S. 199 review taught assessors to compare meanings across unlike phrases. Records reconsidered Faron; lawful ink continued to misbehave in breath.
Codex Ref. VII.8.10-199

Philosophical Prefect
He looked at the basket. The bones went through.
A Rationalist examiner of documents, parcels and suspected sacred objects, attested at Cologne in A.S. 31. He waved Ignatius Brenner's breadbasket through. Three apostolic bones escaped; the inspector's name did not survive.
Codex Ref. III.2.01-031

Phase Nine
A numbered phase without a schedule
Phase Nine is the designation in Report Three, A.S. 199, under which the Unnamed Bureau recommends continued non-disclosure. Its scope remains unconfirmed and completion unrecorded. The paper says pending. So do I.
Codex Ref. XIII.1.09-199

Petter of Lorch
The prisoner who left the lockhouse and stayed in its ledger
Petter of Lorch vanished from a lockhouse near Cologne under a forged judicial order in A.S. 158. His name remained in the custody ledger; the ink kept its prisoner.
Codex Ref. III.2.01-2105

Personnel Harmonisation
An ordinary seal, a staffing need, and a cause left unentered
Personnel Harmonisation moves officials under ordinary seals. Werrenrath's transfer to Shipka names a staffing need; the cause remains unentered.
Codex Ref. VIII.8.02-201

Penal Choir
The condemned supply the voice. The Bureau supplies the words.
An A.S. 201 survey of penal-choir assignments, compelled licensed singing and denunciation bargains. The Bureau can certify that the condemned sang the correct words. Belief requires a different form.
Codex Ref. VI.3.01-201

Parliament Hall
Where quotas leave in ink and neighbours wait beneath the dais
An A.S. 201 survey of Wexel's Parliament Hall of Measures, where quotas leave in ink, neighbours enter the name drawer, and the chaff-winds read the business back as a question.
Codex Ref. II.2.04-002

Pageant of Saint Rupert
The hymn continued because nobody had told the singers to stop
An A.S. 201 survey of the licensed Przemyśl pageant: a third singing granted, barricades collapsed inward, dozens crushed, and a chorus awaiting the signal to stop.
Codex Ref. VII.4.19-201

Oxygen Bulbs
The fortress rations the air; the Cartel counts the breaths
Oxygen bulbs stolen from emergency reserves and filled through illegal valve taps sell by breath-count beneath Bastion-Irongate. The Cartel takes brass where the fortress demands permission.
Codex Ref. XIII.1.22-003

Ossuary-Nullity Adjudicator
The dead have reached the gate; their claim is still under review.
A higher specialist of the Office of Nullity determines whether a struck name retains a burial claim. A body is evidence of death; it is no guarantee of a grave.
Codex Ref. XII.14.01-002

Organic Garrison Towns
The fort has soldiers. The town has a category.
An A.S. 201 survey of civilian communities that have outgrown Synod forts, especially along the Pilgrim's Coast. War claims the garrison, Tithes the market, Settlement the residents. The town has a category; responsibility remains pending.
Codex Ref. III.2.04-018

Ordo Ignis
Even the Cover Has Its Permission
An A.S. 201 survey of Doctrine's approval of accelerant-treated Ashman breviary bindings in the Ordo Ignis's forty-third revision. The approval remains unrevoked. Even the cover has its permission.
Codex Ref. XIII.1.43-001

On the Necessary Silence of Heaven
A sealed memoir and the limits of wax
This A.S. 201 survey records Artois's memoir under seal in Strasbourg, with unofficial copies reportedly circulating. The wax has custody; it has yet to secure obedience.
Codex Ref. XIII.1.06-001

Old Kingdom of Phocis
The harvest was counted. The court slept anyway.
Phocis counted its harvests with royal confidence, then slept between sip and song. An A.S. 201 retrospective survey of the kingdom beneath Syrion's Vales.
Codex Ref. VI.2.04-005

Odessa Fields
The harvest opened; Purity closed the argument
An A.S. 201 survey of an undated report: harvesters ruptured as Wormhosts in the wheat. Agriculture sought burning, Tithes sought salvage, and Purity burned the field.
Codex Ref. VII.8.10-1982

Ochre terraces
Above the walls, still within the ledger
Ochre enters the civilian terraces above Constantinople's old walls in the settlement ledger. A household may live uphill; passage to Blue still requires a stamp.
Codex Ref. III.2.04-1980

Northern Garrison
A hungry port received soldiers
Hamburg's harvest failed; the Northern Garrison came from Berlin. The A.S. 65 record preserves nine days of riot, hangings and a levy cut that expired after one quarter.
Codex Ref. VIII.5.07-065

Ninth Second
Where penance becomes profit and ownership acquires an adjective
An A.S. 201 survey of The Ninth Second, Vienna's most profitable pilgrimage tavern, whose cracked-jaw bell sign is plain and whose ownership denial deserves slower reading.
Codex Ref. II.4.09-012

Night of the Fourth Watch
Three sentences survive. The rest is wax.
An A.S. 201 survey of the surviving public notice: a parish regiment consumed what remains redacted. Survivors were shriven and reassigned; Ninth-Ratification retains the rest.
Codex Ref. VII.8.04-001

Nine-Bell Night
The district reached shelter; shelter did not keep it alive
This A.S. 201 survey records Lor's undated Nine-Bell Night: the towers rang late, a sealed district suffocated, and the Guild's charter outlived its claim to informality. The cause remains unsettled.
Codex Ref. VII.4.03-1928

Multiplication of Receipts
Two totals and a saint's useful reputation
An A.S. 201 survey of the undated claim that Caldrin reconciled nine thousand attendees from five thousand ribbons in the Lace District. Piety calls it abundance; Captains call it fraud under pressure.
Codex Ref. VII.2.10-201

Morava
The roads that carried armies inward and excuses back to Vienna
The Morava corridor carried armies inland and letters out. In A.S. 38, a reported washout nearby gave Vienna a plausible explanation for an East that had stopped answering.
Codex Ref. II.6.06-201

Military Secrecy Concordat
The Bureau owns the routes. The Watchers know the way.
An A.S. 201 survey of Article 17's attested restriction on copying Masurian lake charts. The Bureau owns the routes; the Watchers know where they are.
Codex Ref. XIII.1.17-001

Mist-Walkers
The company sleeps. The decree waits.
An A.S. 201 survey of Syrion's stealth phantoms, drifting like smoke into camps and councils. Companies sink into dream; decrees wait; vigilance is abandoned. The Ledger records what remains awake.
Codex Ref. IV.4.02-001

Missing Drums Incident
Fourteen arrests, three confessions, and nothing to put back on the floor
Seven sealed chrismole drums vanished from Brast's Manifest Court in spring A.S. 201. Fourteen arrests and three confessions recovered none; the Court improved its arithmetic and retained its shortage.
Codex Ref. VII.4.18-201

Mirror-Stalkers
Your face, with every quality the Church rewards.
Morwen's Mirror-Stalkers watch from mirrors, steel and trench puddles, then emerge as improved copies of those who linger. The original tends to falter. The copy does not.
Codex Ref. IV.1.07-1856
