Eastern Command
Where protecting the soldier means forbidding the harvest
Eastern Command issues the eastern sector's orders from Bastion-Constantinople. Its documented duty is to keep soldiers from Kargath's food: the ration feeds them; the harvest devours them.

Kestrel Stations
Watch the rope. Watch the clock. Report the bread.
Fourteen numbered posts watch the Blightmarsh with ash, rope, smell logs and exposure clocks. The A.S. 201 return lists three unnamed vacancies; observation continues, containment remains unproved.
Codex Ref. II.4.09-1534
Kestrel-7
The post watches. The Marsh advances.
Kestrel-7 watches the western Blightmarsh perimeter, recording mudline creep, hostile cultivation and food-scent contact. The rope marks the orders; the Marsh has never read them.
