A Historical Narrative
The Knife Cathedral
The only clean blade is the one that refuses to shine.
Once, Eryk Lorne killed to a liturgy. Now he hides among factory steam and stained-glass rain, a ghost with scarred hands. When assassins begin murdering in his exact style, and praying to him after, the city learns a dangerous prayer: perfection.
To stop a death-cult built from his own myth, Eryk must reopen doors he burned behind him: old handlers, old debts, the apprentice who learned his rhythm too well. At midnight the bells will toll together. Unless Eryk can teach the city to love a wrong note.
The Knife Cathedral is a diesel-noir of broken saints and broken clocks, where the only clean blade is the one that refuses to shine.
