Iron Right Thumb of Vera Malrec
Graded for candles; the glass has heard enough

Licensed Recoverers
Blue cord, clean hands, and slowness witnessed into speed

Shadow Pullers
Faster than law, dirtier than doctrine, and useful before breakfast

Codex Ref. XII.13.05-001
$A Reliquary Salvager in layered leathers and dust mask descending on rope into a collapsed bastion vault, resonance fork at his belt, blue wax cord on his wrist, faint golden hum in the fractured stone below$
The Reliquary Salvager
The Synod misplaces relics; the Salvager retrieves them; no one speaks of the arrangement
The Synod does not lose its relics. It misplaces them — in collapsed vaults, sheared cathedrals, and quake-opened cellars. The Reliquary Salvager crawls in to retrieve them. His compliance record is spotless. His lungs are not.
